Responsibilities
- Assist in the solutioning, development and modernization of Enterprise platform. Solution Architect must be proficient with microservices architecture and container platforms leveraging Kubernetes and Docker containers.
- Play a critical role in a team to design, implement, and deploy a Cloud based enterprise solutions.
- Implement automation in SDLC wherever possible to improve the time to market and reduce chances of error.
- Administer and oversee the automation and take corrective actions to improve systems and prevent repeat of same issues.
Required Skill Set and Experience
- Candidates with 8+ years of work experience and at least 5 years of Cloud experience, specifically around large complex deployments, solution designing, Presales and architecting
- A thorough understanding of Cloud-Native architectures, container orchestration, microservices and operational best practices in the cloud.
- Minimum 4-5 years of hands-on AWS migration projects.
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with implementing complex deployment using AWS CloudFormation, Chef, Puppet, Ansible etc.
Must have :
- Expertise in architecting complex systems and integration architecture on Cloud Native platform.
- Hands-on experience in AWS Cloud Administration using AWS Console and CLI.
- Hands-on experience in AWS CloudFormation, Code Pipeline, Code Deploy etc.
- Good knowledge of at least 2 Infrastructure Automation Tools e.g. Chef, Puppet, Ansible etc.
- Good knowledge of GIT repositories and other source code repositories.
- Good knowledge of at least 1 CICD tool e.g. Jenkins, CircleCI etc.
- Hands-on experience in Bash, PowerShell Scripting.
- Hands-on experience in Linux and Windows administration.
- At least 1 AWS Associate or Pro specialty certification.
- Strong communication skills, ability to present technical ideas in business-friendly language.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
